How long have you been making music?
Um, about a year and a half

What’s your favorite food?
Whatever food is gifted to me [giggles]

What’s your favorite city?
I wouldn’t know, ‘cause I haven’t been to all of them…yet

Who’s your favorite artist of all time?
The Creator [laughs]

What musical trend would you like to see end right now and never, ever come back?
Honestly, I don’t think I’d want anything to end. It’s amazing that every second, something new is created in the world

What’s been your favorite collaboration to take part in so far?
I’d have to say, probably with Unspittable. I haven’t done a whole bunch, but yeah

Who are three artists you would you like to work with in the future?
Qu’ran Sin, Self the Bluest Eye, and the Smalls. They’re an Edmonton hardcore f*ckin’ punk legend

What made you want to be a hip hop artist?
I think it would have to be the stuff you don’t see. the behind the energy stuff

What’s the advice you’d give to somebody who wants to follow in your footsteps?
Dive in and don’t be afraid to go down with your ship

How long does it take you to write a song, on average?
It varies. Depends on how my drive and ambition are [laughs]

What’s the hardest thing about your job?
The hardest thing? Change

What inspires you, in general?
My inspiration would have to come from history. Like, not like books and written stuff, but history as in my bloodlines

What’s your favorite color?
Purple. The healing colour

What other styles of music inspire you?
Classical, jazz, metal, reggae, and um, orchestral [laughs]

What are three artists you’ve got bumpin’ right now?
The Dirty Heads, Reppression of Unspittable, and Sleeping with Sirens

Are there any myths about the industry that you’d like to dispel?
I don’t know any, so nah

Is we finish, or is we done?
We finished. [Laughs]

What do you have coming up that we can all look forward to?
Becoming the strongest version of myelf, being the person I need to be

What, to you, is “living the dream”?
Knowing that I’m standing right where I’m supposed to be
