Whats the best part of your job?
Getting to speak music and do sales. Turning people who aren’t interested into people who eventually come into the office to see what we do and what we can offer
What’s the worst part of your job?
I don’t think there is one! Wait, no. Dealing with diva clients, man. No one in particular [smiles]. There’s this one guy, his name rhymes with Rays, starts with a W…you’re not writing that down, are you? He’ll get mad [giggles]
What three people you would most like to work with in the future?
Justin Bieber, Drake [giggles], and J Cole
Who’s your biggest musical influence?
Michael Jackson
What made you want to be a business developer?
I like growth, to see growth in anything that I do
What’s the advice you’d give to somebody who wants to follow in your footsteps?
Stick to the plan, man. Don’t let anybody deter you from your goals. Your path may change alng the way, but your goals are your goals. There’s always going to be nay sayers along the way. Just make sure it’s not a plan that’s already been done
What’s been the most rewarding part of your career so far?
Working with different artists and being able to manage their different personalities. It’s been challenging and rewarding at the same time. Expecting the unexpected. Fat Joe wasn’t what I expected, at all. He had soft a*s hands, like he’d never worked a day in his life
What’s the most star struck you’ve been on the job?
It hasn’t happened to me yet, but I think the person that would do it to me would be Toni Braxton. If I met her, I’d be star struck. I wanted to marry her. The only reason I wanted to be famous was so that I could get to know her. Now that she’s not so famous herself, I feel like we’re on the same level
What inspires you, in general?
Creativity. I like others’ creative processes. I like to watch artists create. It gets me going
What’s your favorite color?
Purple
What other styles of music inspire you?
I listen to pretty much everything. I like alternative, I like hip hop, I’m not too big on country though
What are three artists you’ve got bumpin’ right now?
Usher – I got some slow jams going [laughs], Silk, Joe. It’s all slow jams right now man. But my favorite of all time is DMX
Are there any myths about the industry you’d like to dispel?
That anybody can do it. It takes a LOT of dedication, hard work, and lonely days and nights to figure your sh*t out. Not everybody is going to believe in you

The launch of the website. That’s my baby right there
